Tokyo Game Show 2025 is coming up, and there have been various rumors about what to expect, including a new Forza Horizon announcement. It wouldn’t be a major show without something Resident Evil Requiem-related, and it seems Capcom is gearing up for a big reveal.
Insider AestheticGamer, aka Dusk Golem, has heard “multiple times in the grapevine” that Leon S. Kennedy, long-rumored to be the secondary protagonist, will be revealed next week. “I don’t know Capcom’s marketing plans from direct sources, so I can’t confirm, but it’s LOUD behind the scenes right now.”
While they lack a “direct connection” for details on marketing, the “murmurs of Leon being revealed next week are very loud, to the point I don’t doubt it.” He also responded to another user about what Leon could look like, alleging a black jacket but a “more rugged” appearance overall.
Of course, this report is interesting considering that Capcom announced no new details for Requiem during its upcoming Online Special Program on September 24th. A new trailer could arrive during the alleged upcoming State of Play or even at the Play! Play! Play! TGS 2025 Special Stage with PlayStation on September 28th. Stay tuned for more details, as always.
Resident Evil Requiem launches on February 27th, 2026, for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2.
