Wellness spa Sway opened its flagship location last week in Denver’s Larimer Square.
Founded by Spavia Day Spa, Sway offers specialized facials, massages — including an AI-powered massage from a robot — and advanced wellness treatments, .
“We’ve identified an unmet need in big cities for health and wellness services tailored to younger generations,” said Emily Langenderfer, director of Sway.
Sway is one of the first wellness clubs in the U.S. to feature Aescape, an AI-powered robotic massage system, according to a February news release.
Using robotic arms and data sensors, the system generates a 3D model of each client’s body from over a million data points, enabling guests to personalize their massage with preferences for pressure, focus areas and music.
The AI learns individual preferences with each each session.
“Our partnership with Sway … aligns perfectly with our mission to make the world’s most advanced massages more accessible,” said Eric Litman, Aescape founder and CEO.
Located at 1428 Larimer St., spa-goers can expect a variety of massages such as deep tissue, CBD, salt stone and sports massages, along with facials that address skin concerns like anti-aging, acne, hydration and redness reduction.
Additionally, the wellness spa will offer “The Remedy Room,” Sway’s recovery space that will provide treatments like Normatec Lymphatic Compression by Hyperice, Cold Plunge, Sauna and LED Light Therapy by LightStim.
The wellness spa is also partnering with Eminence, which makes organic skincare products.
Treatments can be booked individually, with facials and massages starting at $139. For frequent visitors, a membership option is available, with services starting at $99, according to their website.
The store’s operating hours are from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
