Motorola has announced the Edge 60 Stylus, a budget smartphone alternative to the Galaxy S25 Ultra, but we’re not quite ready to celebrate just yet.
The phone packs a solid spec together with a bundled stylus at a knock down price, but it’s only been announced for the Indian market at present.
What is the Motorola Edge 60 Stylus?
Besides an integrated stylus – the only 2025 phone to feature such a thing other than the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra – the Motorola Edge 60 Stylus features the company’s signature curvaceous design, as well as rapid 68W charging and 256GB of storage.
We’re a little concerned at the somewhat weedy-sounding Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor that powers the phone, even with its cheap pricing. There’s a 5,000mAh battery onboard, which is pretty decent when you consider that the phone has to house a stylus.
The camera, meanwhile, features a 50Mp Sony Lytia 700C main sensor and a 13Mp ultra-wide.
All of which is making the Motorola Edge 60 Stylus sound quite a lot like the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion, albeit with a slightly lesser 6.67-inch 120Hz pOLED screen, and with the addition of 15W wireless charging. It also follows a recent Motorola trend for unusually strong built quality, with both IP68 and MIL-STD-810H certification.
One other slight concern is the provision of a mere two OS upgrades and three years of security updates. Again, though, we have to consider the price that’s being asked – and it’s a low one.

Motorola India
Motorola Edge 60 Stylus price and availability
The Motorola Edge 60 Stylus comes with an impressively low price of Rs. 22,999, which takes the sting out of some of those lesser specs.
That works out to about £200 if we’re talking about a direct currency conversion. It’s probably more useful to note that the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion launched in India for a higher price of Rs. 24,999, and that this phone hit the UK market at £299.99.
If the Motorola Edge 60 Stylus ever makes its way West, then, we might well be be looking at a cost in the region of £279.99. That’s far less than the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra’s £1,249 asking price.
Of course, having to estimate based on Indian pricing gets to the heart of the problem here. We’re not yet sure whether we’ll be seeing the Motorola Edge 60 Stylus in the UK or Europe. We’ll be keeping an eye out for updates on this one.
