With remakes of Super Mario RPG and Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, Mario RPG fans have been treated to unexpected joys this last year. Soon, Nintendo is set to follow-up up on that one-two punch with an entirely new Mario and Luigi entry in the form of Mario and Luigi: Brothership, and ahead of the RPG’s launch next month, more extensive new gameplay has been showcased.
Nintendo Life has uploaded an uncut fifteen minutes of gameplay footage from the title, showing its turn-based combat, which, as you might expect, involves plenty of timing-sensitive real-time elements along with the series’ regular turn-based shenanigans. In addition to ordinary hammer and jumping attacks, we also get to see some of the more high-flying abilities, such as the Bros. Moves that see Mario and Luigi combining to deal greater damage with special attacks.
The gameplay also showcases exploration across what are typically pleasant looking locations, offering glimpses of various characters, puzzle solving, progression mechanics, and more. Check out the full video below.

Mario and Luigi: Brothership launches on November 7 for Nintendo Switch.
