Footage has gone viral of the shocking moment a Luton fan PUNCHES a fellow supporter in the face live on Sky Sports after defeat to Reading.
Kelvin Ehibhatiomhan secures a 3-2 victory for the Royals in League One on Thursday night, after they had surrendered a two-goal lead.
Lewis Wing had put the hosts ahead with a penalty on 8 minutes after Hatters keeper Josh Keeley brought down Daniel Kyerewaa
Jack Marriott’s finish from outside the area made it 2-0 for Reading on 52 minutes, before Jordan Clark halved the deficit for Luton soon after.
Then Nigel Lonwijk’s excellent long-range strike had made it 2-2, only for Ehibhatiomhan to come on in the 78th minute and end the Luton’s four-match unbeaten league run. Reading move up to 14th in the table while Luton stay 7th.
In the away end, tensions boiled over, with fans venting at their players, before a fist was thrown from one supporter to another…
Luton lose, fan tells the players off!
Other fan not happy with him doing so angry fan pushes him and gets a massive wallop on the nose for the push!😳

Luton boss Jack Wilshere speaking to Sky Sports:
“I though we were outstanding, I thought we dominated, I thought we were the team looking to take the game by the scruff of the neck, to dominate it, to take control of it.
“We spoke about having a little bit more threat at half-time which even in the second half I felt the same I said to the players you probably know the league better than me and the moments you think don’t matter, do matter.
“We can’t give three goals away and perform like that, a tough one to take, frustrating but a lot of positives to take.
“I actually thought after that transition moment [for the first goal], we controlled the transitions, we spoke a lot about how we control the game in the final third and the importance of managing their players up the pitch, I thought we did that.
“The second goal was us giving it away and the third was from the second or third phase of a set-play so we have to look at that and get back to clean sheets’”
Reading boss Leam Richardson speaking to Sky Sports:
“I think the way we started the game, took the ascendancy, controlled large parts of it, but then we make a mistake, we let them back in it and make a game of it so I’m sure it was great for the viewers, not so much for myself on the sideline.
“We’ve had many meetings, we know we’ve got a young team, they’re learning on the job.
“They’ve not had the privilege to go out on loan and learn and make those mistakes, they’re learning in our own arena with our own fans so I think there’s a lot of meetings about consistency, finding that edge, finding that way to win because in this league you have to.
“It would have been easy for any team to go under but we showed fight right until the end and to be honest I thought we deserved to win.
“I have got a thing about substitutes coming on have got to either maintain the levels or lift them.
“To have Jack [Marriott] back is there for all to see he’s an absolutely lethal goalscorer, great to score against his old team I’m sure, but then also Kelvin [Ehibhatiomhan] comes on to carry the fight and like all good strikers do he got straight into the game and I’m made up that he scored the winner as well.”
Reading striker Jack Marriott talking to Sky Sports:
“I think everyone’s on the same page, we’ve got our structure and we’ve got energy up the top of the pitch, we’ve got the big man [Ehibhatiomhan] to come on.
“He made a huge difference when he came on, scored a great goal and that’s what we need in the final third, we need to be scoring goals, that’s the pressure that we have to take.
“It’s a massive three points we have got to build on that, take it into the Christmas period and really go on a bit of a run now.”
Marriott on his darts-influenced celebration:
“My best mate from school started chemotherapy today and he said if you score please do it, so I did it for him.”
Here’s how social media users reacted after a Luton fan PUNCHES a fellow supporter in the face live on Sky Sports following defeat to Reading…
@Nozzzaaaa: Fans punching their own fans live on TV – comedy gold 😂😂😂
@LutonTownExile: To be fair, the guy throwing the punch was protecting the young lad standing next to vociferous Victor Meldrew. I’d imagine the language Victor was using was industrial in tone. Then VM would have insulted the protector. Victor had it coming. 100%.
@Kiz___: We’re actually a laughing stock 😂
@luton_lad: What on earth have we become 😂
@lewie74: My boy had the old fella on strings all 2nd half. Probably telling the players that he was getting embarrassed by a school kid and then got a slap for his troubles 😂
@jjunglejim: Happy Christmas ya filthy animals
@fitts1867: One of my least favourite ‘traditions’ in modern football is the absolute headloss rant at players after each and every away defeat. Embarrassing
@OhWhenTheTown: We’ve hit a new low ladies and gentlemen.
@luke_barber87: Some of these Luton fan need to remember the proper bad times they had, financial ruin and playing in the national league. Recent success has clearly had an impact on some
@denperry1111: Do they not realise that league one is where they should be?
@ADS_DRFC: All this bollocks of players in teams struggling or not doing what is expected of them going over to fans needs to stop it is embarrassing, go over clap the fans hold your hands up and get back in the changing room.
@abboluton2: It really has come to this ?!
@cockney_bantam: We’ve all been in the prem and we’ve all been in League 2. You’re entitled to nothing. Embarrassing behaviour, wind it in fella.
@Up_TheChickens: How entitled do these fans think they are! They were in the National League not that long ago, had a year in the Premier League, and think they should be dominating this league!
@DonLtfc: some club we are 🙏🏼
@jake_murphy95:
Since when did Luton become such an entitled fan base, yes I get the back to back relegations, but you also went on a great journey.
13-14 (conference)
17-18 (L2)
18-19 (L1)
19-20 (champ)
23-24 (prem)
Not exactly a bad ten years is it 😂😂
@bcafc_1903: Luton fans are the fucking worst. Shit ground, shit team and shit history. Think they’re massive cos they spent 1 season in the prem lol
