While the Foxes might have got proceedings underway back in August with their sights set on mounting a genuine promotion charge, Leicester have continued to show a string of glaring issues and have come under a tremendous amount of scrutiny.

Making an immediate return to losing ways when opening the New Year earlier in the week, West Brom find themselves in an almost identical position to Monday’s opponents and they almost find themselves sat in Championship limbo.

In what could prove to be a nervy night from the King Power, we have taken a glance at some of the most attractive Leicester City vs West Brom Bet Builder Tips.

Pressure on Cifuentes reaches a boiling point

Losing their Premier League status last season, it is no secret that Leicester opened up the 2025/26 campaign with their sights firmly set on clinching an immediate top-flight return.

However, enduring what has quickly become a public crisis and rightfully facing a tremendous backlash from around the King Power, the pressure on Marti Cifuentes’ shoulders has now reached a boiling point.

Last seen getting the New Year underway with a routine 3-1 loss away at Sheffield United, the Foxes have lost three of their previous four Championship appearances and they have come tumbling out the top-half of the standings.

Now facing a major uphill battle in the race to even punch a play-off ticket, Leicester have also continued to show a string of inconsistencies in front of their own supporters.

Despite signing off 2025 with a hard-fought 2-1 victory against Derby, the former QPR boss has seen his struggling squad win just a trio of their last 10 Championship showdowns at the King Power.

West Brom’s nightmare rut on the road

Also making an immediate return to losing ways on New Year’s Day as they got 2026 underway with a 1-0 loss away at Swansea, West Brom almost find themselves in an identical position to Monday’s opponents.

With some in Ryan Mason’s camp potentially looking over their shoulder at a potential relegation scrap, the former Tottenham midfielder also faces some mounting scrutiny over his position.

Along with losing three of their previous four Championship appearances, the Baggies have also gained quite the reputation for their remarkable rut away from the Hawthorns.

Including an action-packed 3-2 loss at the hands of Southampton last month, West Brom have astonishingly lost all of their previous nine consecutive showdowns on the road – a rut that stems all the way back to the start of October.

It should also be highlighted, Mason’s side have lost their last two trips to the King Power by an aggregate score of 5-1.

A battle between two incredibly leaky defences

Along with gaining a reputation for their extended inconsistencies at the King Power, Leicester have also continued to show some major defensive issues.

Coming under a huge amount of scrutiny last month as they slumped to a nightmare 4-1 drumming at the hands of QPR, Monday’s hosts have remarkably failed to register a single clean sheet from any of their previous 19 consecutive Championship appearances.

With that run stemming all the way back to September 20th, Leicester have also failed to come away unscathed from any of their last nine straight showdowns at the King Power.

Likewise, with West Brom losing all of their previous nine consecutive matchups on the road, the Baggies have also recorded just a single Championship clean sheet since the start of November.

Two camps who have shown their own glaring defensive issues this season, it’s also worth noting that five of the last six meetings between Monday’s opponents have finished with over 2.5 goals.
