Disney is starting 2025 with a dose of horror. In January, the service will debut the second season of Goosebumps – a series based on the famous children’s books by R. L. Stine. The novels created by the American writer tell stories about kids and teenagers getting involved in all sorts of paranormal adventures, using their wit and courage to deal with them.
Stine’s books were adapted for television in the 1990s, but Disney decided to bring a fresh version of the famous horror tales. The new Goosebumps is an anthology that tells a different story and introduces new characters every season. It’s created by Rob Letterman (Pokémon: Detective Pikachu) and Nicholas Stoller (Forgetting Sarah Marshall), who write and produce the series.
