In summary
- Pricing remains the same as Pixel 9
- No 128GB Pixel 10 Pro XL
- Google AI extras also revealed
North American pricing details for the Pixel 10 have leaked, and it’s good news for anyone put off by Google’s recent approach to selling smartphones.
Pixel pricing has steadily crept up in recent years, culminating in a Google Pixel 9 that no longer undercut its chief rivals from Samsung and Apple, but rather stood toe to toe with them.
The good news is that Google is halting that upward trajectory for the Pixel 10 range. Following the European pricing rumours that emerged earlier in July, Android Headlines has published what it claims to be official US and Canada pricing.
Pixel 10 pricing
The website claims to have official Pixel 10 range pricing for North America. The only change compared to the Pixel 9 range is the omission of the 128GB option of the Pixel 10 Pro XL.
Otherwise, the Pixel 10 will once again kick things of at $799 / CA$1,099 for the 128GB model. Moving up to 256GB will cost $89 / CA$1,229.
Moving up to the Pixel 10 Pro, pricing will again commence at $999 / CA$1,349 for 128GB. 256GB will cost $1,099 / CA$1,479, 512GB will cost $1,219 / CA$1,649, and 1TB will set North Americans back $1,449 / CA$1,949.

The Pixel 10 Pro XL is where that one and only kink is introduced, with no 128GB model. That’s a bummer, but at least the now-baseline 256GB model still costs the same $1,199 / $1,629 as before. Then there’s 512GB for $1,319 / CA$1,799 and 1TB for $1,549 / CA$2,099.
Finally, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold will start from $1,799 / CA$2,399 for 256GB, just like before. Upgrading to 512GB will sots $1,919 / CA$2,569, while the 1TB range-topper will make eyes water at $2,149 / CA$2,869.
The report also mentions the service extras that Google will include with each Pixel 10 model, and that has gotten ever so slightly worse than before.
Pixel 10 owners will get just six months of the Google AI Pro plan, rather than a full year. This comes alongside six months of Fitbit Premium and three months of YouTube Premium.
The rest of the Pixel 10 lineup still gets that full year of Google AI Pro, with six months of Fitbit Premium and three months of YouTube Premium.
This pretty much completes the Pixel 10 picture. We know know almost everything about the range, including its specs, design, colour options, and now also pricing.
Google will be announcing the Pixel 10 range at a special Made by Google event on August 20. Has it managed to keep any secrets in reserve? Tune in to find out.
