Codemasters and Electronic Arts Arts have officially announced F1 25, the next title in the former’s flagship Formula One racing series. Lewis Hamilton is the cover star, and a full reveal is slated for March 26th at 8 AM PST.
Nothing is known about its gameplay features, improvements or new modes. However, leaker billbil-kun reported that the Standard Edition retails for $59.99 while the Iconic Edition allegedly costs $79.99 and provides three days of early access. Your guess is about as good as ours regarding the price drop over last year, so stay tuned for more details.
F1 25’s platforms haven’t been confirmed, but it’s likely bound for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC and allegedly out on May 30th. In the meantime, check out our review of last year’s title, F1 24. We gave it an eight out of ten, praising the Career Mode and presentation while remaining iffy on the handling changes.
