Our Verdict
There’s very little to criticise where the X10 Pro Omni is concerned. It’s packed full of features, vacuums well, and has advanced object recognition. It’s well priced, too. If it’s within budget, it should be at the top of your list.
The X10 Pro Omni is Eufy’s current flagship robot vacuum, with an impressive feature set. It does pretty much everything you’d want a robot vacuum to do: vacuums, mops, empties itself and washes and dries its mop pads. And all this for less than similarly-specced models from rival brands.
But is it the well-priced all-rounder it initially appears to be?
Let’s take a look.
Design & Build
- 3L water tanks
- 2.5L dust bag
- One sweeping brush
Dark and imposing, with deep tread tyres, the Eufy X10 Pro Omni looks like a robot vacuum and mop that means business, serious business.
The robot has a shell of black satin plastic with a LiDAR navigation tower and a trio of power buttons on the top, and a camera and LED lights on the front. The charging contacts, water injection point and dust collection port are at the back. The dustbin cartridge is under a flip-up lid on top.
Two of the three buttons have dual functions, so you can perform basic tasks without opening the app. You can switch it off and on, return the robot to the station and start a spot clean (as well as resetting the Wi-Fi connection and enabling or disabling the child safety lock).
The robot itself is a chunky bit of kit at 35 x 32cm (12.6 x 16.6in) with a low profile of 9cm/3.5in, so it should get under most pieces of furniture without problems. The deep tread tyres on the wheels make it seem like an off-road version of a typical domestic robot vacuum and have a touch of the monster truck about them. As our tests showed, the robot was easily able to tackle raised room thresholds.
There’s only a single sweeping brush. The two detachable mopping pads are large, around 15cm in diameter.
The Omni station measures 46 x 36 x 22cm (18 x 14 x 8.7in) and is something of a domineering presence in a room. Once you fit the detachable base plate to the front, the footprint extends out to 48cm/18.9in – which means that you might want to place it in a utility or cloakroom, rather than a lounge or hallway.
The Omni station has two 3L tanks that slide into the station on the left, the dirty water tank behind the clean, and the dustbin on the right that fits a 2.5L dust bag. The 140cm power cable fits into the back, giving you a reasonable amount of leeway as to where you place it.
Performance & Features
- 8000Pa suction
- Ai.See object recognition
- Pro-detangle comb
Set-up is simple: unpack the robot, remove the protective coverings, fit the base plate to the station, and plug it in. You’ll need to consider where to site the station because you need reasonable proximity to a plug point and viable distance from a wall, and once you run the mapping procedure, moving the station at a later point means you’ll need to map again.
Then switch the X10 on, add water to the tank, let the robot charge, and download the Eufy Clean app. To connect, you need to switch on your smartphone’s location, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi. We found that it connected without much fuss at all and we were ready to go. The X10 Pro mapped the space quickly and accurately and made it over a 2cm threshold, where other robot vacuums have struggled. It also divided the space in a rational manner.
The home page of the Eufy Clean app provides three cleaning scenarios – Full Home Deep Clean, Full Home Daily Clean, Post-Meal Clean – and you can add a custom scenario.
In the custom scenario, you can select “smart mode”, which automatically selects a cleaning strategy based on the room type. You can choose a fast, standard, or deep cleaning intensity, whether you wish to vac, mop or just vac and mop, which level of suction you need, and the mopping level. You can also select edge-hugging mopping, which will make the robot twist when it mops close to the edges of a room so it can clean closer to the walls.
You can also choose to clean once or twice over and select a specific room or zone to clean.
We found that the X10 Pro did a really good job of vacuuming. The dust bin filter will trap small particles, and we did notice lower levels of dust with repeated vacuuming sessions.
When it came to the flour test, the Pro X10 needed two sweeps of the floor space on maximum suction to remove all of the flour. We thought this was pretty good, as it’s a difficult task for a robot vacuum.
Naturally, there is real-time reporting via the smart map in the app, and one thing that impressed us was the object recognition feature. If the X10 Pro hit a stray cable, a little cable icon popped up on the map. You can also set the robot to take photos of the obstacles if you wish.
Vacuuming took about a minute for 9sqft, on average, so a 161sqft room would take 17 minutes. We found the X10 Pro took about one hour and twenty minutes to vacuum an entire floor of 527sqft. The noise levels are not particularly noticeable in use, even on maximum suction.
Mopping is also rather impressive. The X10 spins its mops at 180rpm and uses 1kg downward pressure to clean the floor. At a high-water level, we found the floor was a damp-to-touch tack that was more evident than other robot mops we have tested. The mop pads only descend when when the device is actively mopping, and the robot returns to the Omni station to both wash the mop pads and dry with 45°C heat.
App features
- Multi-map ability
- Adjustable base station settings
- Obstacle photos
- Smart tracking
The X10 allows you to choose multi-map saving, so you can map and store more than one floor map: a great option if you want to use the X10 Pro to clean on different floors.
You can adjust the settings for automatic mop washing, drying, and emptying. So you can set the Omni station to wash the mop every time it finishes a room, or after a certain period of time between 15 and 25 minutes. The drying sequence can be set for 2,3 or 4 hours, and you can set the robot to empty every 15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes.
If you don’t want to wait, there’s an option to empty the dust, or wash and dry the mop directly.
You can set a schedule for cleaning and programme a start time, on which days you wish the programme to run, and which part of the house you wish to clean and how. You also have a cleaning history that lists the date and time of your cleans, how much floor space was cleaned and how long it took.
If you have hard floor and carpet, you can set the robot to automatically lift the mop when it detects carpet, avoid the carpet all together, or mop the carpet.
There are also manual controls that enable you to personally direct the robot in real time, and you can turn the AI.See obstacle avoidance on or off and even set the robot to take photos of obstacles that it finds in your home – if you feel comfortable doing so. The data security of Eufy’s robot vacuums has never been questioned but security vulnerabilities have been found Eufy’s security cameras. In addition, Eufy does collect some data on its customers, so you may well prefer not to use this feature.
The X10 Pro also boasts smart tracking. Once activated, you press the front bumper with your foot for three seconds and it will follow you while you walk, cleaning every step of the way.
In the app, there are also the usual “do not disturb” and child lock settings, and an accessory services page that gives you the remaining life of your side brush, rolling brush, filter, sensors, and dust bag, along with videos of how to change them. You can also control the X10 Pro with voice commands via Alexa and Google Assistant.

Should you buy the X10 Pro Omni?
The X10 Pro Omni may be an imposing presence in a room, but it delivers flexible cleaning without a lot of fuss, and you can precision schedule the cleans. If you need a robot vacuum and mop that can handle a less than perfectly organised home, and you don’t want to fuss with emptying and refilling tanks every day, the X10 Pro might be just what you need.
