Amplitude Studios has announced a delay for the early access launch of Endless Legend 2. Instead of August 7th, it will now arrive on September 22nd.
In a press release, the developer said this was to provide “extra consideration” for player onboarding, improving polish and “player momentum” in the early sections, and “ensuring localization is at a high standard.” It’s also working to improve map generation and balance while implementing other quality-of-life changes.
On the bright side, fans can expect a free demo to launch in early August. The contents, and whether it will feature all the improvements that Amplitude is working on remain to be detailed. As always, stay tuned for more updates.
Endless Legend 2 is coming to PC via Steam Early Access. As a sequel to 2014’s 4X strategy title, you’ll venture to a new world, Saiadha, pursuing multiple paths to victory with different factions. You could command the economy, dominate through military might, and much more. There’s also a new mechanic, Tidefall, which opens up new locations.
