Elon Musk and Grimes first went public with their relationship at the beginning of May 2018. After confirming their romance, they made their very public debut at the Met Gala that year. The two connected via Twitter and began a relationship, welcoming their first child, a son, in May 2020. The son’s name is X AE A-XII, but he goes by X. In March 2022, Grimes revealed that she and Elon had also had a daughter, Exa Dark Sideræl Musk, who goes by Y, in Dec. 2021. In June 2022, the couple welcomed their third child, Techno Mechanicus, via surrogate.
Elon and Grimes’ relationship has been very on and off, and he even confirmed in Dec. 2021 that they had split. However, she explained in a March 2022 interview that she still considers Elon her “boyfriend” and “best friend,” adding that she “doesn’t expect people to understand it.”
