Taking place this year on Friday, November 29, and Monday, December 2, 2024, respectively, they are two of the biggest shopping events of the year—and travel is no exception. These twin retail holidays offer the chance to nab massive discounts on travel-related items and experiences, from luggage and travel accessories to flights and vacation packages.
Already, some airlines, tour companies, cruise lines, hotel groups, and retailers have rolled out their deals. We combed through the barrage of offers and picked out the ones we thought were truly exceptional. So whether you’re looking for a steep discount on luggage to replace your worn-out suitcase or want to book an escape for 2025, here are some of the best Black Friday and Cyber Monday travel deals.

Early Black Friday and Cyber Monday 2024 airline deals
La Compagnie: From November 21 through 25, all-business-class airline La Compagnie is offering round-trip flights from Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) to Paris, Milan, and Nice, France, for $2,200 as part of its annual “Blue Friday” promo. Scandinavian Airlines (SAS): From November 26 through December 3, SAS is offering round-trip flights to Europe starting from $399. The deal applies to travel that takes place between January 13 and April 30, 2025, and includes round-trip nonstop flights from Newark to Oslo, from Miami to Stockholm, and from Los Angeles to Copenhagen.
Tap Air Portugal: For Tap’s Black Flyday sale, the airline is offering round-trip economy fares from the United States to destinations throughout Europe for as low as $359 round-trip in economy, and business class from $2,199. Sample fares include New York to Paris for $399 round-trip; Miami to Madrid from $359; Chicago to Milan from $429; and San Francisco to Lisbon from $549. The sale runs through December 4, for travel between January 14 and May 15, 2025, excluding April 7 to 22, 2025.
Early Black Friday and Cyber Monday 2024 hotel deals
A huge swath of our favorite independent, luxury, eco-friendly, and boutique hotels and resorts are offering discounts right now. Rather than list every single one, our advice to travelers is that if you have a hotel you love or have been wanting to try, check the website or call to see if they have a promotion. Below, we’ve compiled attractive deals being offered by larger hotel brands and companies that encompass numerous properties.
21C Museum Hotels (various U.S. destinations): Now through December 3, 2024, take up to 35 percent off stays at 21C’s eight art-filled hotels across the Midwest and South in cities such as Louisville, Kentucky; Chicago; and Durham, North Carolina, for travel between now and August 31, 2025.
AutoCamp (various U.S. destinations): Through December 3, save up to 40 percent off at all open AutoCamp locations using the code “NATURE” for stays through December 2025. (Limited availability, blackout dates apply.)
Hyatt (various international destinations): Now through December 6, all guests can get 20 percent off stays through April 30, 2025, at participating Hyatt hotels in Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East, with code “SAVENOW” at hyatt.com.
Postcard Cabins (formerly known as Getaway) (various tiny cabins in the U.S.): Postcard Cabins has roughly two dozen outposts of secluded tiny cabins within a two-hour drive of major U.S. cities, including New York City, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Boston, Austin, Portland, and Washington, D.C. Travelers can take 25 percent off with code “NATUREBOUND” on any stays through March.
Westgate Resorts (various U.S. destinations): Now through December 3, 2024, travelers can save up to 50 percent off Westgate Resort’s 22 locations across the United States, ranging from Park City, Utah, to Orlando, Florida.
Early Black Friday and Cyber Monday 2024 cruise deals
Abercrombie & Kent: Looking for something exciting to do over New Year’s? Abercrombie & Kent is offering up to $8,000 off on staterooms for its “Antarctica, South Georgia & Falklands: Holiday Voyage” (plus a $5,000 air travel credit per person when booked through Abercrombie & Kent.) The epic itinerary departs December 20, 2024, and returns January 7, 2025. The company is also offering 20 percent off its new Peruvian Amazon cruises that are booked by the end of the year, for all available sailings.
HX (formerly Hurtigruten Expeditions): On select 2024 and 2025 all-inclusive expeditions to Antarctica, the Galápagos, Alaska, the Northwest Passage, Greenland, Svalbard, and South America, HX is offering up to 50 percent off. The deal extends through December 9, 2024.

Scenic Group: From now through December 1, Scenic Luxury Cruises has two-for-one fares and discounts of up to 35 percent off select sailings (like its “Antarctica in Depth” or “Jewels of Europe”). Scenic’s sister company, Emerald Cruises, is also offering two-for-one fares, which can be combined with up to 40 percent off each suite on its river cruises in Europe and Southeast Asia.
Oceania Cruises: For bookings made now through December 10, 2024, receive savings of up to $5,500 per guest on more than 90 itineraries in 2025 with Oceania Cruises, a luxury cruise line known for its culinary offerings. Featured sailings include Papeete to Auckland, an 18-day cruise visiting French Polynesia, Fiji, and New Zealand, departing Mach 7, 2025, and Anchorage to Vancouver, an eight-day sailing throughout southeast Alaska, departing May 21, 2025.
Variety Cruises: Book by December 3, 2024, to get 50 percent off cruises to the Seychelles, Cape Verde, West Africa, and Europe.

Intrepid Travel: Through December 5, 2025, small-group tour operator Intrepid Travel is marking down more than 800 of its 2025 trips by up to 20 percent. Choose one of Intrepid’s new itineraries, such as its seven-day “Inca Trail Express” or the “Trek Pakistan’s Karakoram Mountains” (which was recently recognized in Afar’s Where to Go 2025 list).

Away: Chances are you’ve heard of Away—the luggage brand has a cult following in the travel world. And now through December 2, Away is offering 25 percent off everything on its site, including the (much-loved by Afar editors) Away Bigger Carry-On ($221, was $295) and the Large Featherlight Tote ($88, was $118).
Dollar Flight Club: This cheap-flight alerts website is offering a three-month trial of its premium service (usually $99/year) for $1. The promotion runs through December 3, 2024.
Going (formerly Scott’s Cheap Flights): This newsletter and travel deals alert app is offering up to 50 percent off one-, two-, or five-year memberships through December 3.
Lo & Sons: Now through Cyber Monday, save up to 70 percent on Lo & Sons’ entire site of travel bags, including the Catalina Deluxe Tote ($102, was $205) and the Waverley 2 ($110, was $220)—one of Afar’s top picks for fanny packs.
Monos: From now through November 28, 2024, Canadian luggage brand Monos is offering savings of up to 30 percent sitewide with code “EARLYBF”. That means Afar’s favorite carry-on with a laptop pocket—the Monos Carry-On Pro Plus—is marked down to $259 from $315 in select colors.
