Andrew Tate tells Chase DeMoor he will regret 'hospital' comments

The pair have traded verbal jabs since confirmation of their bout, but Tate was left rather enraged by Chase DeMoor’s brutal promise

Andrew Tate has fired a severe warning to rival Chase DeMoor after the Misfits heavyweight champion threatened to send the controversial influencer to hospital.

The two stars are due to meet in a heavyweight showdown in Dubai next weekend. Tate will be making the walk to the boxing ring for the first time in his career – five years after his last kickboxing outing. The former champion had to cut his combat sports career short after being plagued by injuries.

DeMoor, on the other hand, has been rather active since making his professional debut three years ago. The former Too Hot to Handle sensation has fought a whopping six times this year – his last coming in a knockout win over Devinson Guerra back in October.

Since confirmation of the Dubai dust-up, the pair have been involved in a war of words on social media. Both men recently met at a launch press conference, and continued to trade barbs. Fans were left stunned after DeMoor vowed to inflict some serious damage to Tate and send his foe to the hospital, battered and bruised.

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul will face off for a heavyweight clash in Miami on December 19. The fight will stream live on Netflix, which fans can get for free with Sky’s £15 Essential TV bundle, the brand’s ‘lowest ever price’ for Sky TV.

“I hope you wake up in a hospital,” DeMoor said. “So, I am going to be honest with you, buddy. I am trying to hurt you.” After letting the Americans’ comments simmer for a little bit, Tate was eventually asked for his thoughts on the threat. The 39-year-old did not mince his words and is adamant his upcoming adversary will wish he hadn’t said those alarming remarks.

“I think he is just a product of the new generation like I said,” Tate said to iFL TV. “I do not think he thinks properly before he talks. I think he will regret saying that. I know he will regret that. I will make him regret that. But even himself I think will regret that. I just do not think he was thinking it through.”

Despite the inactivity, it is apparent Tate is taking his return very seriously. Recently, fans were left worried after the 39-year-old showed off a nasty black eye he sustained during training. DeMoor capitalised on the pictures, hinting that his foe may also be suffering from other injuries ahead of their dust-up.

That said, Tate could not care less what his upcoming opponent thinks. “So, he’s probably right there. I mean, I’m a very objective person. He has a lot more to gain and I have a lot more to lose. I’ve given an effective, without disrespect, nobody a chance. And I’ve done that because I believe that I need to test myself and I want to see the quality of the roster on Misfits. So, he’s right. And my brand perhaps is based on taking the biggest possible risks and putting my money where my mouth is and struggling and suffering and showing that I’m really about it,” Tate said during a pre-fight face-off.

“You know, to be top G and run your mouth and say certain things is very different than show up on the day and actually perform. So, he’s right about that. I have a lot to lose. He has it all to gain. when he’s knocked out, he doesn’t lose anything. It doesn’t matter. It’s all, you know, on me. But I understood that before I accepted the fight. And uh I also understand what he’s saying. I mean, a lot of that would have been discussed in his camp. The cope, right? You know, he’s old and he doesn’t train anymore and his biceps torn and he hasn’t fought for a long time and he’s not a boxer.

“All that cope they would have been thrown around for a very long time. But we’re going to see on the night and I think a lot of people who believe in Chase, there’s a lot of people on the internet who believe in him, which actually I find quite refreshing. I’d be very upset if everyone said this was going to be one-sided. I don’t want that. I want people to believe he’s going to beat me and I want people to be surprised on the night because, you know, I’ve beaten bigger things than Chase and I’ve beaten bigger men than Chase and I’ve fought people with a lot more experience than Chase and I fought things outside of the ring much bigger than Chase. So, I’m very very excited to fight him.”
