Amazon’s Fallout TV series has looked increasingly promising with each now showing, and ahead of its imminent premiere, excitement is continuing to build. Interestingly enough, it looks like confidence about how the show will do is also high at Amazon- high enough, in fact, that plans already seem to be in motion for a second season.
As reported by Variety, it’s been announced by the California Film Commission that Fallout will relocate filming for its second season to California. The first season was shot primarily in New York, but the decision has seemingly been made to move production to California for the next season, owing to Amazon receiving $25 million in California tax credits for the production of season 2.
Reportedly, some filming for the second season will also be done in Toronto, and will actually kick off production on the season this September. Thus far, Amazon has yet to officially announce a second season for Fallout.
Fallout’s first season will premiere on April 11, with all eight episodes going live at once.
