Anything new coming from It Takes Two and A Way Out developer Hazelight Studios is going to have pretty high expectations to live up to, thanks to the studio’s track record. Thankfully, the upcoming Split Fiction continues to look like it’ll be up to the task.
Ahead of its looming release, Hazelight and publisher EA showcased a new trailer for the co-op action-adventure title, showcasing more new gameplay footage and shedding new light on what to expect from its story.
As previously confirmed, players will play as Mio and Zoe, two writers who must journey through each others’ fictional worlds – fantasy and science fiction settings – and learn to work together and trust each other. Check out the trailer below.
Split Fiction is due out on March 6 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Check out its PC requirements through here. Like Hazelight’s previous titles, every copy of the game will come with a Friend’s Pass that you’ll be able to share with a friend, allowing two players to play on a single purchase.
