The ongoing tragedy and devastating aftermath of the horrifying recent wildfires in LA have claimed at least five lives so far, leaving over 100,000 residents without their beloved home, as the single most destructive fire in Los Angeles history has seen houses, commercial buildings and venues be reduced to ashes.
The flames aggressively advanced to some of the more affluent areas of the region, including Calabasas and Santa Monica, with a multitude of celebrities having to be evacuated as a result.
Here are just some of the famous celebrities who have lost their properties to the destructive wildfire:

- Anthony Hopkins: The celebrity famously played Hannibal Lecter in hit film Silence of the Lambs, and sadly lost his London home to a fire in 2000. Again, he has been on the unfortunate end of a tragedy as his 6 million dollar mansion has succumbed to the blaze in LA.
