With 2025 officially getting underway this weekend, we have a stacked Premier League schedule on the cards.

With seven Premier League showdowns from up and down the country, the likes of Manchester City, Arsenal and Chelsea will steal centre stage on Saturday afternoon.

For those of you looking to put on a festive Premier League acca, we have taken a look at some of the most appealing Saturday betting tips.

Saturday, January 4th

BST 12:30 Tottenham vs Newcastle

While Newcastle might have shown some real signs of a struggle when returning from November’s international break, the Magpies have come roaring back in a sensational fashion.

Last seen on December 30th putting in another dominant display as they secured a 2-0 victory away at Manchester United, Eddie Howe’s men have come skyrocketing up the table and now sit within touching distance of the Champions League spots.

Extending on their EFL Cup adventure last month as they clinched a 3-1 win at home against Brentford, the former Bournemouth boss has seen his squad win each of their previous five meetings against Premier League opposition.

Making a statement last month as they cruised their way to a 3-0 romp against Aston Villa, Newcastle have continued to shine with their performances in the final third.

Relishing a trip to north London on Saturday lunchtime, it should be noted that the Magpies have won each of their last five consecutive outings by an aggregate score of 16-1.

Suffering a collapse on home soil last week as they eventually had to settle for a 2-2 stalemate at home against relegation scrappers Wolves, Tottenham find themselves at the heart of a public crisis.

Coming under a huge amount of scrutiny on December 22nd as they fell to a 6-3 drumming at the hands of Liverpool, the pressure on Ange Postecoglou’s shoulders is reaching a boiling point.

Mustering just a single point from any of their previous three Premier League appearances, Spurs have also won just a pair of their previous 10 matchups across all competitions – a run that stems back to November 10th.

Showing a string of glaring defensive issues so far this season and battling it out in the bottom-half of the table, the former Celtic boss has seen his squad muster just a pair of clean sheets since the end of September.

Betting Tip: Alexander Isak over 1.5 shots on target @ 5/4

15:00 Bournemouth vs Everton

Signing off 2024 by snatching a thrilling last-gasp point away at Fulham, Bournemouth have only continued to receive a string of plaudits from across the Premier League so far this season.

Embarking on what has been a real rise under the guidance of Andoni Iraola, the Cherries find the mood in their camp at a red-hot high and have suddenly set their sights on mounting a genuine European charge in the New Year.

Gaining a reputation for their free-flowing approach under the former Rayo Vallecano boss, Saturday’s hosts are riding a real wave of momentum and will be looking to extend on their charge here.

Claiming another famous 3-0 romp away at Manchester United last month, Bournemouth are unbeaten in each of their previous seven consecutive Premier League appearances.

Picking up a string of heavyweight scalps so far this season and opening Saturday’s showdown sat just one-point adrift of finding a route back into the European spots, the Cherries have also suffered just a single defeat at the Vitality since the middle of September.

While Everton might have shown some real ruggedness last month as they collected a point off the likes of Manchester City, Chelsea and Arsenal, Sean Dyche’s men came crashing back down to earth on December 29th.

Eventually falling to a 2-0 loss at home against Nottingham Forest, the Toffees still find themselves at the heart of a relegation scrap.

In fact, Saturday’s guests have mustered just a single victory from any of their previous 10 consecutive Premier League appearances – a rut that stems all the way back to October 19th.

With mounting pressure on the former Burnley boss and facing what could be another stern examination here, Everton have also recorded just a single strike in any of their previous four top-flight showdowns.

Betting Tip: Bournemouth win @ 17/20

17:30 Brighton vs Arsenal

Although Arsenal might have a real uphill battle on their hands in the race to claim a first Premier League crown since 2004, the Gunners are enjoying a major purple patch.

Opening 2025 with a 3-1 victory away at Brentford on New Year’s Day, Mikel Arteta’s men have won each of their previous four appearances across all competitions and will be looking to extend on their charge this weekend.

Laying down a marker last month as they stormed their way to a 5-1 romp away at Crystal Palace, Saturday’s guests are unbeaten in all of their previous 12 consecutive outings.

Sat in the driving seat to punch a Champions League quarter-final ticket this month, Arsenal know the importance of making up some crucial ground on runaway leaders Liverpool here.

Collecting seven points from their previous three showdowns against Brighton, it should also be highlighted that the Gunners have not suffered a single Premier League defeat away from the Emirates since returning from November’s international break.

While Brighton might have come flying out of the traps following Fabian Hurzler’s arrival over the summer, Saturday’s hosts are desperately seeking some kind of stability.

Despite snatching a 2-2 stalemate away at Aston Villa last time out, the former St. Pauli boss has seen his squad fail to muster a single win from any of their previous seven consecutive appearances across all formats.

Suffering real frustration on December 15th as they slumped to a 3-1 drumming at the hands of arch-rivals Crystal Palace, the Seagulls will be bracing themselves for another real challenge here.

It’s also worth highlighting, Brighton have managed to secured just a single win from any of their last six showdowns at the Amex – a run that stems all the way back to October 6th.

Betting Tip: Arsenal win @ 4/5

Our Saturday Premier League Accumulator:

  • Tottenham vs Newcastle – Alexander Isak over 1.5 shots on target @ 5/4
  • Bournemouth vs Everton – Bournemouth win @ 17/20
  • Brighton vs Arsenal – Arsenal win @ 4/5
