Earlier this year, reports emerged that an expanded version of Hogwarts Legacy was in development, with Rocksteady Studios providing development support on the project. Now, a report published by Insider Gaming’s Tom Henderson has shed further potential light on what the alleged re-release of the 2022 open world action RPG will entail.
As per the report, Hogwarts Legacy Definitive Edition will feature as much as 10-15 hours of completely new content, which will include not only main story missions, but also new side quests, outfits, and more.
The new content will also be offered as DLC to those who already own the base version of the game, and though no final decisions have yet been made on release date and pricing, the report claims that the DLC could launch at some point in 2025 at a price point between $20 and $30.
Last Month, Warner Bros. Discovery’s CFO Gunnar Wiedenfels said that a sequel to Hogwarts Legacy was a priority for the company “a couple of years down the road”. Read more on that through here.
Hogwarts Legacy is available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The game has sold over 24 million units as of this January.
