Hosted at the RDS Simmonscourt on Sunday 10th November, this highly anticipated event is poised to be Ireland’s largest-ever motor show – a must-attend for anyone interested in the future of mobility.

The event will feature over 80 electric vehicles from more than 30 leading automotive brands, including Alfa Romeo, Audi, BMW, BYD, Citroën, CUPRA, Dacia, Fiat, Ford, Hyundai, Jeep, Kia, Lexus, MG, Maxus, Mercedes-Benz, Nissan, Opel, ORA, Peugeot, Polestar, Porsche, Renault, Skoda, Smart, Subaru, Tesla, Toyota, Volkswagen, and Volvo, among others.

Attendees will have the unique opportunity to explore a diverse range of electric vehicles, from nimble city cars to high-performance models and versatile family vehicles. Visitors can engage with industry experts who will be on hand to provide invaluable insights and dispel any uncertainties about electric vehicles. The show will also highlight the latest 251 finance offers, allowing attendees to better understand the affordability options available when transitioning to electric mobility.

One of the key highlights of The Nevo Electric Vehicle Show will be the exclusive Irish unveilings of several all-new electric vehicles, including the Renault 5, Ford Capri, Kia EV3, Dacia Spring, and a large range of others. In addition to the impressive line-up of vehicles, attendees will have the chance to connect with specialists in finance, insurance, home and public charging, and alternative e-mobility solutions. A series of panel discussions featuring key industry leaders will also run throughout the day, offering thought-provoking insights into the future of electric vehicles.

Bank of Ireland, the headline partner of the event, will once again have a prominent presence at the show. Karen Kennedy, Customer Development & Innovation at Bank of Ireland, said:

“Our partnership with Nevo underlines Bank of Ireland’s support for customers continuing to educate themselves before making the transition to electric driving. The popularity of the Electric Vehicle Show highlights the massive public appetite for transitioning to electric motoring, with a huge number of people opting for financing as a seamless way into owning and driving an electric vehicle. Bank of Ireland Finance experts will be on hand at the show and will be happy to answer any questions or queries that people may have.”

The Nevo Electric Vehicle Show is not just for individual consumers. It is also the premier destination for businesses, both large and small, to learn about transitioning to electric mobility. Whether you’re considering converting your fleet to electric vehicles or upgrading to greener energy solutions, a range of experts will be available to guide people through the process. Attendees can also explore the latest commercial electric vans, offering businesses a glimpse into the future of sustainable transport.

Simon Andreucetti, Commercial Director of Nevo, stated, “The Nevo EV Show in November not only highlights the undeniable momentum behind electric mobility in Ireland but also showcases a united automotive industry determined to make electric vehicles a mainstream reality. We are excited to present such a diverse array of brands and experts, ensuring an unparalleled and comprehensive experience for both consumers and businesses alike.”

In addition to the extensive vehicle displays, attendees will have the chance to experience the thrill of driving Ireland’s most popular electric vehicles with on-site test drives. Live demonstrations will also be presented by Nevo’s Derek Reilly, the host of Ireland’s leading Electric Vehicle YouTube channel and Partnerships Director of Nevo.

Derek Reilly, Partnerships Director of Nevo, shared, “I’m excited to have so many Irish launches at the show, coupled with the comprehensive educational content, making this show an unmissable event for anyone interested in the future of electric vehicles in Ireland. Stage 1 will provide attendees with all the essential information needed before making the transition to electric. This includes detailed explanations of electric vehicle technology, the benefits of going electric, and the factors to consider when choosing an EV.

Stage 2 will focus on the practical aspects of owning and operating an electric vehicle. Topics covered will include charging options, solar integration along with lots of information regarding the used electric vehicle market. This stage will equip visitors with the knowledge and tools necessary to make the most of their electric vehicle ownership experience.”

The event is held in collaboration with SSE Airtricity and is supported by ZEVI (Zero Emission Vehicles Ireland), promising to deliver an immersive and informative experience that showcases the present and future of electric mobility.

David Manning, Marketing Director, SSE Airtricity, said: “Customers are looking for practical solutions to help them reduce their carbon emissions and save on running costs. We’re looking forward to attending this year’s Nevo EV Show and showcasing how we can help. From home charging infrastructure, including solar panels and batteries, to EnergiHub – our innovative app that makes charging at home cheaper and easier. And with our new fast charging hubs around Ireland, we’re helping to fuel a cleaner, greener journey for those longer drives.”

Paul Farrell of ZEVI (Zero Emission Vehicles Ireland), discussed the Government’s commitment to supporting a greener future: “As Ireland transitions to a more sustainable future, EVs have emerged as a key component of reducing carbon emissions in the transport sector.

The Government, through Zero Emission Infrastructure Ireland, are fully committed to supporting the switch to zero-emission vehicles and are investing €100m in EV infrastructure up to 2025, while maintaining the generous range of vehicle incentives.

As the upcoming Nevo Electric Vehicle Show in November demonstrates, with further improvements in technology and more brands and models entering the Irish market, offering more options and possibilities, we foresee more drivers will choose electric, as the industry continues to deliver a wider variety of EVs to suit all needs and we transition from the early adopter to the mainstream majority”
