Larian Studios has confirmed that Patch 7 launches this week for Baldur’s Gate 3 on PC. Perhaps the biggest update for the title yet, it adds new evil endings and cinematics, official modding support, and multiple quality-of-life features.
Due to all the changes, it will take a “little longer” to arrive on consoles and Mac. Some other features in Patch 7 include split screen changes, with players’ screens merging and splitting dynamically as they join and separate. There will also be fixes for clipping and other bugs in cinematics alongside addressing issues with Origin characters.
You can also add Honour Mode mechanics to your Custom playthrough, and there are new Legendary Actions for enemies. Stay tuned for more details on the update’s release in the coming days.
Baldur’s Gate 3 is available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. While Patch 7 is monumental for the game’s support, it isn’t the end. Larian is still looking to add features like cross-platform play and Photo Mode.
In case you missed it, Patch 7 is coming to PC next week!
With so many changes and new features arriving in this patch, it’ll take a little longer to get these to you on console and Mac – but don’t worry, you’ll be murdering your enemies and installing mods in no time. pic.twitter.com/G7DzctYwKk
