Ahead of its imminent release, Visual Concepts and 2K continue their rollout of new information on NBA 2K25, and with the latest info drop, have unveiled some of the biggest new improvements and features set for The W in this year’s game.
The WNBA-focused mode will once again see players trying to surpass greats of the game, including the likes of Angel Reese, Caitlin Clark, Kamilla Cardoso, and of course, A’ja Wilson, who’s one of this year’s cover athletes. New to this year’s mode are press conferences that will allow players greater control over the narratives of their careers are crucial junctures, including after certain games, career milestones, winning awards, and the like.
Meanwhile, The W Online will also move to a completely new environment in the form of an outdoor court in a forest grove, where players will be able to participate in 3v3 multiplayer games. Weekly Community Goals will also make a return, while a new feature is being introduced in the form of Mentorship, which will tie into Community Goals.
