Ever since AI detectors were introduced to the mainstream, I’ve been wary of my work being flagged as AI. And no — not because I’m using LLMs like ChatGPT, but because of false positives.
The unfortunate truth is that there’s no better solution yet and that’s why educational institutions still depend on AI detectors despite clear evidence of students being falsely accused of using AI.
In the meantime, the best thing we can do is protect ourselves from this possibility. Is CogniBypass enough to do so? Let’s find out.
What is CogniBypass?
If you’re ever worried about false positives, then something like CogniBypass would benefit you. This is an AI bypassing platform that can create a “humanized” version of any AI-generated (or something that reads like it) content using a sophisticated and highly-specialized rearrangement of words and removal of common AI markers.
CogniBypass has two main models:
- Nebula: Their newer model. They claim that this can create more readable text that can avoid AI detection more consistently with the slight drawback of slow turnaround time.
- Meteor: CogniBypass’ old model. This has a quick turnaround time, but you’re sacrificing readability and low AI likelihood scores.
CogniBypass’ Features
CogniBypass’ main feature is its AI bypasser. This allows you to hide from AI detection tools, but unlike other AI bypassers, CogniBypass only focuses on four detectors: Originality, TurnItIn, GPTZero, and Google. Now, as far as I know and after doing a cursory search, Google doesn’t have its own detector — so I don’t know where and how CogniBypass sources an AI likelihood score from it.
Besides its paraphraser, CogniBypass also offers a pretty robust text editor. What it’s doing in an AI bypassing platform — I don’t know. But hey, at least it’s there, so plus points for effort.
How Good Is CogniBypass At Writing?
Faith, once the cornerstone of human existence, is now in decline. The erosion is evident as religious institutions struggle to fill pews, and ancient rituals fade into obsolescence. This waning faith reflects society’s shifting values, where scientific skepticism challenges spiritual beliefs, and individualism undermines communal worship. The vacuum left behind breeds existential angst and moral ambiguity. Yet, in this crisis lies potential for rebirth—an opportunity to redefine spirituality, embracing a more inclusive and compassionate ethos. As faith falters, humanity stands at a crossroads, poised either to reclaim a deeper, more resilient spirituality or to plunge further into the void of disillusionment. The choice, and its profound implications, is ours to make. |
The weakening of faith an aspect of human life is becoming more apparent. This decline can be seen as churches struggle to attract worshippers and traditional customs lose relevance. The diminishing belief, in something mirrors the changing values of society, where skepticism towards science challenges convictions and the focus on individuality weakens communal worship. This shift creates a sense of uncertainty and moral confusion. However within this challenging situation lies an opportunity for renewal—a chance to redefine spirituality by embracing inclusivity and compassion. As faith diminishes humanity finds itself at a juncture with the option to either rediscover a more enduring sense of spirituality or descend further into disillusionment. The decision we make carries consequences, for our future. |
once the bedrock of human society, has now largely lost its former significance. Religion is in steep decline, and religious institutions struggle to find parishioners for their many seats as old sacraments are discarded. The falling off of religious belief reflects changing values within society where skeptical science challenges spiritual belief, collective worship is underminged by individuality. The vacuum left behind is filled with existential angst and moral uncertainty. But the very crisis also offers the future: it is a time when we can start anew for spiritual renewal, casting off dogma, embracing a universal and more compasionate relationship with life. Faith as it falters, humanity stands at a crossroads, exerted either to recover a deeper and more reslient spirituality, or fall into the void of disillusionment even further. This choice, and its ultimatey profound implications, is one that we have been left to make. |
The Meteor model shows some improvement in readability with shorter sentences, but it has its share of grammatical issues. The opening sentence is incomplete, missing a punctuation: “The weakening of faith an aspect of human life” should be “The weakening of faith, an aspect of human life.” There’s also an odd comma placement in “The diminishing belief, in something mirrors the changing values of society.” These errors disrupt the flow and clarity of the text.
Nebula, despite being from a newer AI model, surprisingly contains more grammatical and spelling errors than Meteor. It starts with an incomplete sentence: “once the bedrock of human society,” lacking a subject. Spelling mistakes like “underminged” instead of “undermined” and “compasionate” instead of “compassionate” are glaring. The punctuation is inconsistent, with missing spaces after periods in some instances.
The latter also has some awkward phrasing that impacts comprehension. For example, “But the very crisis also offers the future” is vague and confusing. The sentence “Faith as it falters, humanity stands at a crossroads” is grammatically incorrect and hard to understand.

CogniBypass vs. Undetectable AI: Short Comparison
Perhaps the most popular AI bypasser today is Undetectable AI. This platform, similar to CogniBypass, takes an input and ensures it won’t be flagged as AI. We’ve already reviewed it in full, compared it against other bypassers, and even put it against AI detection tools — and here’s the thing: we’ve never been disappointed.
So, let’s see if CogniBypass has what it takes to take down Undetectable AI.

CogniBypass takes some creative liberties with phrasing. It has a few grammar hiccups and odd word choices. Phrases like “Band Fleetwood Mac is a testimonials” and “they thus become, beyond being only a band” stand out. The best way I can describe it is a grammatical rollercoaster.
Undetectable AI, on the other hand, shows better grammar overall. It maintains a more consistent tone and structure. The sentences are clearer and more concise. However, it’s not perfect. There are a few missing apostrophes and commas that could improve clarity.
There are also some things in isolation in CogniBypass’ output that don’t make sense to me. For example, where did “Raw and emo-tional” come from? What does “hard-done-by” mean? How am I supposed to interpret “recorded in the annals of rock legends”?
This is a no-brainer for me — Undetectable AI, despite its many flaws, wins this round.

All Said And Done
I’ll be honest, I know we shouldn’t really judge a book by its cover. Still, I couldn’t help but have high expectations of CogniBypass after seeing its modern and sleek UI.
Unfortunately, my expectation hasn’t been met.
When looking at platforms like this, we need context. If you’re a paraphraser that focuses on bypassing AI detectors, then you need to have consistently low AI likelihood scores. CogniBypass doesn’t. It also has some weird output issues, which obviously isn’t optimal.
But here’s the bottom line: it’s priced similarly to Undetectable AI. Based on the quick comparison, I just can’t think of any reason to recommend CogniBypass over it.
