The dates for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6’s multiplayer betas have been revealed, while true to Microsoft’s word, it’s also been confirmed that this year’s entry will be the first time that the series will have a simultaneous beta across all platforms, rather than being tied to PlayStation with timed exclusivity as the case had been for the past several years.
During the first episode of the official Call of Duty podcast, it was announced that the early access beta for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will go live on all platforms on August 30 and remain up until September 4. It will be available to anyone who’s pre-ordered the game, as well as to members of Game Pass. Following that, a week later, an open beta will go live for everyone from September 6 to September 9.
Activision has yet to talk about the contents of the beta, but presumably, those details will be shared in the days and weeks ahead.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 launches on October 25 for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, Xbox One, PS4, and PC. It will also be available day one on Game Pass, depending on which tier you’re subscribed to.
