OnePlus’ next big launch event isn’t happening until 16 July, but the company has confirmed all four of the products which will be announced.
The Nord 4 smartphone, Pad 2 tablet, Watch 2R smartwatch and Nord Buds 3 Pro earbuds will all be unveiled during what’s set to be a busy event in Milan.
As you might expect, the design and specs of all the new products are yet to be revealed. But OnePlus has already confirmed a few key details.
First up, the Nord 4, the successor to 2023’s Nord 3, which remained one of our 10 best mid-range phones until recently.

OnePlus describes the Nord 4 as “the first all metal smartphone of the 5G era”, hinting at a return to the metal unibody design we’ve seen on some 4G handsets in the past.
Specs leaked by Sanju Choudhary on X suggest the phone will feature a 6.74-inch, 120Hz OLED display, Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 processor and 5500mAh battery with support for 100W fast charging. If true, three cameras are most likely: 50Mp main, 8Mp ultrawide and 16Mp selfie.
The OnePlus Pad 2 will be a successor to the original Pad, which we described in our review as “a great tablet for entertainment, but not serious work”. Will that change on the Pad 2, given OnePlus is describing it as “a new flagship productivity tablet”? Time will tell.

Meanwhile, OnePlus is calling the Watch 2R “a lightweight Wear OS smartwatch”, suggesting it could be a more affordable version of the flagship OnePlus Watch 2 which isn’t quite as hefty. And “an affordable set of earbuds” in the Nord Buds 3 Pro is seemingly also targeting value for money.

OnePlus says it’ll be revealing more about the new products “in the upcoming days”, so watch this space. In the meantime, see our round-ups of the best mid-range phones, best tablets and best smartwatches to see what they’ll be up against.
