Not permitted to take the stage in Atlanta, Kennedy held his own forum in Los Angeles where he answered the same questions directed to Biden and Trump

President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump will give Americans four more years of the same struggles while Robert F. Kennedy Jr. will implement change if he is elected, the independent presidential candidate said in his closing statement at “The Real Debate.”

Shut out of the CNN presidential forum in Atlanta, Mr. Kennedy held a forum in Los Angeles that was moderated by former ABC News and Fox Business Network journalist John Stossel.

Live streamed on X, Mr. Kennedy’s event took place in a studio with a live audience, unlike the forum in Atlanta, where no audience members were permitted.

Mr. Kennedy answered the same questions directed to President Biden and President Trump by CNN in Atlanta.

“The Real Debate” drew 5.8 million views, according to the count on X.

Americans under 30 have lost pride in America and hope in their futures, Mr. Kennedy continued in his closing statement, where he also criticized President Biden and former President Trump for their debate conduct.

“They can’t get into a home. They are the  first generation in history in America that is going to live worse lives than their parents. They see the vitriol that you saw here, the division, the polarization that makes them disgusted with politics. They’re seeing the corrupt merger of state and corporate power that has transformed our agencies into sock puppets to the industries they’re supposed to regulate,” Mr. Kennedy said.

“They’re seeing the destruction of our soils, the destruction of our air and water, watching this happen, and the politicians do nothing about it, except for hate on each other.”

Mr. Kennedy wrapped up his final statement with a comment about the current and former presidents.

“If you want more of the same, you know that they’re going to give you four more years of the same stuff. If you want things to completely change, you’re going to support me, because I’m going to change everything,” he said.

Mr. Kennedy said he will “stop the surveillance state” and unravel the “war machine.” He also promised to unravel what he called “the corrupt merger of state and corporate power.”

“I know how to do it. I’ve been mitigating against these agencies for years, and I’m uniquely suited to do this.”

If Americans vote out of fear, they should support “one of those guys,” but if you want to vote out of hope and “out of restoring the morals of our people and our nation, you should vote for me.”

Mr. Kennedy opened the debate by chastising President Biden, former President Trump and CNN for appearing on the stage in Atlanta.

“This is the first time that a private corporation owns the debate, and it’s troubling because CNN is making tens of millions of dollars from this debate, and so they have an incentive to go ahead and collude with the two presidential candidates whose main purpose was to keep me off this stage,” Mr. Kennedy said.

“This is something that’s important for our democracy because Americans feel like the system is rigged,” Mr. Kennedy declared before calling the debate “the kind of merger of state and corporate power” that he is running for president to oppose.
