You can grab three months of the service for free. After the trial period is over, the price jumps up to the standard price of £7.99 per month.

With a free Audible subscription, you get one audiobook title to download and keep each month, plus unlimited listening to thousands of select Audible Originals, podcasts and audiobooks.

This means you can read the original Bridgerton books, including Penelope and Colin’s story, Romancing Mister Bridgerton. Richard Osman’s The Thursday Murder Club is also included in the plan. This novel will be getting a Netflix adaptation with a star-studded cast.

This deal is open to all, as long as you are a new customer of Audible. The offer is available until 31 July 2024.

At the time of writing the same deal isn’t available in the US, but American users can bag a month for free. After that, the price jumps back up to the standard cost of $14.95 per month.

The Audible app works on iPhone, Android, Windows, or on Amazon’s own Fire Tablet, Fire TV and Echo.

The audiobook membership service hosts the world’s largest selection of audiobooks and “premium spoken-word entertainment”, according to Amazon. Membership includes unlimited listening to the Plus Catalogue–thousands of Audible Originals, podcasts and select audiobooks.

You get a credit every month which can be applied to any audiobook, regardless of its price or length.

You get to keep the books for life, even if you cancel – which you can at any time, including the day before the third month if you no longer wish to continue as a member paying full price membership. Read more in our guide on how to cancel Audible.
