Celebrities from far and wide were welcomed back to Cannes, France, for its annual film festival to celebrate the premieres of new productions.
The 2026 Cannes Film Festival began in May, and all the stars have dazzled the red carpet in France to support the premieres of their movies. From La Vénus Électrique (The Electric Venus) to the anniversary screening of The Fast and the Furious, the festival celebrated multiple productions, as their cast and crew members received rounds of applause for their work.
One of the most viral topics of discussion to come out of the festival was Demi Moore‘s comment about AI in the film industry. The Substance star shared that it would be helpful for artists to embrace AI rather than be against it — a comment that sparked backlash online.
