Chelsea have been speaking to David Ornstein it seems. And what Ornstien has said is literally setting off fireworks once again amongst the Chelsea fans.
Talk about ill timing. Talk about reading the damn room. Oh deary me.
But yes people, after two defeats in our last two games and after winning just three games in our last ten, we are once again being told to be patient. Yep, be patient after fours years and £1.5bn spent. Can you quite believe that? I can, because it’s all we’ve ever been told, that they are building an elite team and we just need to wait until they are or matured and banging. When will that be? It could be next year, the year after, or it could be 2035. But one day, Chelsea will be back, so fear not. ‘The teenagers will eventually grow to mid 20s, the mid 20s will eventually grow to 30s, and we will get there. Just don’t worry about it, shut the hell up moaning about it, and be patient for gods sake. We know best, alright? You lot have no idea.’
That’s basically what I hear in my head when I read these god awful briefings. I mean, Chelsea surely didn’t tell Ornstein to post this stuff on Sunday night after a defeat to PSG and Newcastle leading up to it, did they? I can’t see they would be that stupid. But the wording from Ornstein is that ‘Chelsea feel’. So his info has come direct from speaking to Chelsea, whether recently or not so recently.
Ornstein says:
“What Chelsea feel they are building here is an elite, talented squad. Not only for the now but for the future as well. So some patience whether the fans like it or not will be required.”
Oh mate, with respect, just BORE OFF with that crap. We’re sick to death of it. We’ve heard it from owners, SDs, managers, players, journalists, the lot for the last four years and it’s completely and utterly tiresome.

It’s absolutely laughable because all I can do is laugh at this point. You’re literally shooting yourselves in the foot with this nonsense.
Unless you are telling me that you are tweaking and balancing your project and in the transfer market, then I’m not interested anymore.
