Which is very fitting as this list is all about the Canadian companies with a presence in Ireland, looking to add to their teams. So, if you want a new job to be thankful for, your quest starts right here, with this list of 10 Canadian companies currently hiring.
CGI
Canadian multinational information technology consulting and software development company CGI has multiple locations in Europe, Africa, Asia and the Americas. At its Belfast base, the company is looking to recruit a security architect, senior cybersecurity consultant, a vice-president of consulting services for government and health, and a vice-president of consulting delivery.
Clio
Canadian legal-tech software platform Clio has an office in Dublin that wants to add a senior content marketing manager for EMEA, senior commercial legal counsel professional for EMEA and a software developer to its teams. The first role is also available in London, UK.
eSentire
Canadian cybersecurity company eSentire has a presence in more than 80 countries worldwide. At its location in Ballincollig, Cork, there are a number of roles open to qualified professionals. If you are based in Ireland, looking for a new job, why not consider applying to be a SOC analyst I, SOC analyst II or a technical account manager.
OpenText
Canadian software company OpenText also has a premises in Cork that is in the process of recruiting for a principal security analyst, principal premium enterprise support manager, lead site reliability engineer, senior site reliability engineer and a senior cloud applications consultant, among others.
Scotiabank
The official bank of Nova Scotia, Scotiabank is a Canadian multinational financial services platform with a large global presence in the Asia-Pacific region, as well as in Canada, the US, Latin America, the Caribbean, the UK and Ireland. At its Dublin facility, Scotiabank is looking to add an associate director of business risk management for global banking and markets to its team.
Shopify
Canadian e-commerce platform Shopify has a number of sales positions on offer to professionals based in Ireland. There is also a remote, Ireland-based position for a live site operations analyst on the support team.
Sun Life
Canadian insurance and financial services firm Sun Life has a presence in Waterford, Ireland, with a number of open positions for qualified professionals. Roles include intelligent automation architect, DevOps engineer, IT business analyst, Microsoft 365 productivity engineer, performance engineer and data engineer among others. A number of those positions are open to students and early-career starters also.
SOTI
Mobile and IoT device management company SOTI, which is headquartered in Canada, currently employs roughly 1,800 people and has nine global offices, including in Galway, Ireland. There are several vacancies currently, such as software architect for principal software development, technical lead, front-end senior software developer, an English and German-speaking technical account manager and a technical account manager who can speak English and French.
Stantec
Sustainable engineering, architecture and environmental consulting company Stantec has multiple locations peppered all over the world, including on the island of Ireland in Belfast and Dublin. Vacant opportunities include principal civil engineer for the water sector in Belfast, as well as several graduate opportunities in electrical and civil engineering for next year in Dublin.
Waterman Tecsar
At the start of this year, Canadian-Irish engineering and infrastructure company Waterman Tecsar Engineering Alliance announced plans to grow its Ireland-based workforce significantly over the course of the next three years. Waterman Tecsar is looking to recruit broadly across the engineering sector and is aiming to hire professionals skilled in areas such as process piping, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and civil structural engineering.
