Grace Van Patten has steadily built a reputation as one of Hollywood’s most promising young actresses. She first gained wide recognition for her breakout role as Zoe Marconi in Hulu’s Nine Perfect Strangers, where she starred alongside Nicole Kidman, Michael Shannon, and Asher Keddie. She also appeared in Netflix projects like Tramps and The Meyerowitz Stories, which helped establish her range early in her career.
Her on-screen debut came in 2006 as Ally Pontecorvo in two episodes of HBO’s The Sopranos. Since then, she has taken on notable roles in films such as Under the Silver Lake, Good Posture, and That Violent Heart.
More recently, Grace starred in Hulu’s Tell Me Lies opposite Jackson White and just finished her biggest role to date — portraying Amanda Knox in Hulu’s The Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox. The limited series concluded in October 2025, and her performance was widely noted for its emotional intensity and nuance.
Grace also comes from a Hollywood family. Her father is director and producer Timothy Van Patten, known for acclaimed series like Boardwalk Empire and Game of Thrones, and her uncle was beloved comic actor Dick Van Patten.
