Billionaire Elon Musk and Prince Andrew of the British Royal Family were named in new documents released by Congressional Democrats that relate to the late disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein.

In a series of more than 8,500 new files made public by Democrat lawmakers on the oversight committee of the US House of Representatives, multiple prominent figures were revealed to have been associated with the convicted sex offender.

The new files, which included phone message logs, flight logs, transaction records, financial ledgers and daily schedules, revealed that Tesla, SpaceX and X boss Elon Musk was invited to the infamous Epstein island in December 2014.

A note from Epstein’s schedules read “Reminder: Elon Musk to island Dec. 6 (is this still happening?)”

Musk had previously stated that he was invited to Epstein’s island – Little Saint James in the US Virgin Islands – but that he had declined the invitation. He’s since maintained his innocence, stating that he kept no connection with the late sex offender and denying any wrongdoing.

Separately, a flight log from the year 2000 names Prince Andrew, the Duke of York, as one of the passengers.

Details reveal the flight, which took off on 12 May, flew from Teterboro in New Jersey to West Palm Beach in Florida. The manifest also notes that Jeffrey Epstein and his longtime partner and convicted sex trafficker, Ghislaine Maxwell were also on board the plane.

On 11 May, 2000, the Buckingham Palace said on its website that Prince Andrew had flown to New York to attend a reception for the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children. A later press release announced his return to the UK on 15 May.

One heavily redacted financial ledger revealed that payments were made for massages for an “Andrew” in February and May 2000. It’s still unclear if the “Andrew” referred to in the ledger is indeed Prince Andrew. The British Royal has strenuously denied any wrongdoing and has yet to comment on this latest revelation.

An entry released by the congressional committee also revealed that Peter Thiel, an entrepreneur and prominent Republican Party donor, was scheduled to have lunch with Epstein in November 2017.

Former advisor to US President Donald Trump and political commentator Steve Bannon was also mentioned in the new files, as an entry names him for a breakfast plan on 17 February 2019.

Additionally, the files also mention plans for a breakfast party with Microsoft founder Bill Gates in December 2014.

It’s not been suggested that those named in the partial records submitted by the Jeffrey Epstein Estate to the oversight committee were aware of the alleged criminal activity for which the financier was later arrested for.

Epstein died by suicide in a New York jail in August 2019 while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges. He and Maxwell, were accused of trafficking and soliciting young girls for sexual acts on their private island for high-profile clientele, which included lawmakers, entrepreneurs and celebrities.

Maxwell, a British socialite, is currently serving a 20-year sentence in a sex trafficking scheme. She has recently petitioned the US Supreme Court to overturn her conviction.

Her lawyers have stated that they would “welcome” a pardon from US President Donald Trump, who previously called Maxwell a “friend”, and wished her well in her proceedings.
