After over 100 times subscription, VMS TMT IPO allotment expected soon: Here’s how to check status

VMS TMT is set to finalise the allotment of shares for its Rs 148.5 crore IPO today. The IPO, which was open between September 17 and 19, saw a strong response, getting subscribed over 102 times overall. The retail portion was booked nearly 48 times, while non-institutional investors bid 227 times. Qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) subscribed 120.8 times.

Investors can check their allotment status on the website of the issue registrar, Kfin Technologies The company will also notify successful bidders via email and SMS.

Visit the Kfintech IPO allotment page (https://ipostatus.kfintech.com/)Select VMS TMT IPO from the dropdown menu.

Live Events

Enter your PAN, application number, or DP/Client ID.

Click on Submit to view allotment details.

Alternatively, the allotment can also be checked through BSE’s website under the equity IPO status section.

Go to BSE IPO Allotment Status (https://www.bseindia.com/investors/appli_check.aspx)

Select Equity under issue type.

Choose Shringar House of Mangalsutra

Enter application number and PAN.

Grey Market Premium (GMP)

The IPO is commanding a GMP of around 11%, suggesting modest listing gains if current grey market trends hold. This implies the stock could list around Rs 110 per share, compared to its issue price of Rs 99.

About the IPO

VMS TMT had set a price band of Rs 94–99 per share, with a lot size of 150 shares. The issue was entirely a fresh issue of 1.5 crore shares, aggregating to Rs 148.5 crore. Promoters’ holding will fall from 96.28% pre-issue to 67.19% post-issue.

The company intends to use the net proceeds to repay borrowings (Rs 115 crore) and for general corporate purposes.

VMS TMT manufactures thermo-mechanically treated (TMT) bars, with its facility located near Bavla in Ahmedabad district, Gujarat. It markets its bars under the Kamdhenu NXT brand through a license agreement with Kamdhenu Ltd. As of July 31, 2025, the company had three distributors and 227 dealers across Gujarat.
