Hot off this year’s Pokémon World Championships, next year’s location has already been announced, with a new fan experience, Pokémon XP, joining the fray. The event will take place alongside the World Championship competitions at the Moscone Center in the heart of San Francisco. It’s set to introduce several offerings and activities, many of which have yet to be unveiled.
However, what fans can expect is a pop-up Pokémon Center experience to buy merch, panels, workshops, and a chance to get autographs from special guests. In addition, for the first time on Championship Sunday of the 2026 Pokémon World Championships, competitors will battle it out at the Chase Center.
Multi-day passes will be available for advance purchase on Sept. 17, 2025 with a second wave slated for the following day.
Passes include the PokémonXP multi-day pass or the PokémonXP multi-day + arena experience pass. “The multi-day pass provides access to most PokémonXP spaces as well as PokémonXP goodies,” according to the event website. “The multi-day + arena experience pass includes everything available with the PokémonXP multi-day pass, with the exciting addition of access to the arena on Championship Sunday.”
Multi-day passes cost $120 (Pidgey) or $150 (Standard) for adults. With the arena experience, prices rise to $150 (Pidgey) or $180 (Standard). Passes for attendees under 18 are $70 or $100, and $90 or $120 with the arena experience.
