Denver-based Frontier Airlines is adding four new nonstop routes this fall from Denver International Airport, increasing its total number of nonstop flights from DIA to 72 destinations.
“We are thrilled to launch these new routes from (Denver), offering Frontier’s signature affordable fares to Virginia, Oklahoma, Texas and New York,” said Josh Flyr, vice president of network and operations design at Frontier Airlines.
“With now more than 70 destinations nonstop to choose from – and premium upgrades available, including UpFront Plus seating, plus First Class seats on the way – now is a better time than ever for Coloradans to hop aboard Denver’s hometown low-cost airline.”
Nonstop service to John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York will begin on Oct. 8, operating three times per week.
The following day, Oct. 9, twice-weekly nonstop service will launch to Corpus Christi International Airport in Texas.
Additionally, twice-weekly nonstop service to Tulsa International Airport in Oklahoma will start on Oct. 12, followed by the start of twice-weekly nonstop service to Richmond International Airport in Virginia on Oct. 19.
To celebrate the announcement, the airline is offering fares as low as $39 this year. Sale fares are valid for nonstop travel on select days of the week, Oct. 7 through Dec. 18, with some blackout dates.
Tickets must be purchased by 11:59 p.m. Eastern time on July 28.
