At the recent National Enterprise Awards, Monaghan based health tech start-up, Spryt was crowned as the overall winner. I caught up with Neill Dunwoody one of Spryt’s co-founders.

Spryt was founded by Neill Dunwoody and Daragh Donohue, and was inspired when a friend of theirs, sadly died after missing vital hospital appointments. The current healthcare access model is rigid and unresponsive, forcing patients to adapt to an inflexible system. In the United States alone, $1 Trillion is spent annually on inefficient scheduling and billing, perpetuating a system that fails patients and payers/providers.
