Paris Saint-Germain will make history if they can win the Champions League for the first time against Inter Milan on Saturday. Despite having accumulated a wealth of domestic titles in recent years, Les Parisiens have never managed to claim the European Cup they so crave.

The closest PSG came was in 2020, when they were handed a bitter 1-0 loss at the hands of Bayern Munich. Kingsley Coman was the man who broke hearts across the French capital that night, with his 59th minute winner proving the difference between the two sides.

However, with a talent-filled squad managed by Luis Enrique, many football fans will hope to to see the French titans get the job done at the Allianz Arena. PSG’s road to the final hasn’t been plain sailing, having finished 15th in the Champions League league phase before being pitted against Ligue 1 rivals in Brest in the play-offs for a place in the round of 16.

Over the course of two legs, PSG managed to register an aggregate score of 7-0, before besting Premier League winners Liverpool on penalties, Aston Villa in the quarter-finals, and Arsenal in the semis. And while Enrique – who has already had the privilege of tasting UCL glory with Barcelona in 2014/15 – will be eager to add a second European title to his resume, he will have to engineer victory over a fierce Inter Milan side to do so.

No stranger to Champions League glory, Inter already boast three titles in the competition, having achieved back-to-back victories in 1964 and 1965 over Real Madrid and Benfica respectively. Their latest triumph came via a 2-0 win over Bayern in 2010. And after narrowly missing out on a Serie A title to Napoli by a single point this season, I Nerazzurri will be eager to walk away from 2024/25 with some form of silverware for their efforts.

As a result of finishing fourth in the Champions League standings, Inter didn’t have to worry about a play-off tie in order to make it to the knockout stages, meaning they’ve played two games fewer than PSG in the competition. Instead, they beat Feyenoord in the last 16, dispatched Bayern in the quarter-finals and handed Barcelona a 7-6 loss on aggregate in the semis to stamp their place in the final.

With a highly exciting evening of football ahead, Mirror Football breaks down how fans can tune in without paying a penny…

What time does PSG vs Inter Milan kick off?

The 2025 Champions League final between PSG and Inter Milan is set to take place at the 75,024-capacity Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany on Saturday evening. Kick-off is pencilled in for 8pm.
