I wish I could say that this score was unexpected, but it simply isn’t. Why?
Because Monica’s AI detector is just three AI detectors wrapped in one: ZeroGPT, GPTZero, and Copyleaks. We’ve already tested Undetectable AI against them and it bested them each time. Why should this time be any different?
The fact of the matter is, Undetectable AI’s AI humanizer (which they keep upgrading, mind you) is leagues ahead of most AI detectors in the market, and Monica is no exception.
The Bottom Line
Let’s get this out of the way: Undetectable AI, really good. We know this already from literally dozens of testing we’ve done. What’s more to be said?
Monica, or their AI detector at the very least, is the opposite. It’s just an aggregator of GPTZero, ZeroGPT, and Copyleaks, and at a certain point, you’d need to pay for their premium tier to continue using their detector — which makes sense, considering that GPTZero and Copyleaks are paid services too.
My problem is, if they’re just going to aggregate scores from different detectors, doesn’t it make sense to use the best in the market? ZeroGPT is notoriously inaccurate. GPTZero and Copyleaks are fine, but wouldn’t you want Winston and Originality AI somewhere in there too? It’s such a missed opportunity.
