When is the next Apple event? How to watch Apple’s spring event 2024What will Apple announce at its spring 2024 event?

The May event, complete with the tagline of ‘Let Loose’, is expected to focus on the next-generation iPads.

Here are all the key details, including how to watch live and everything we’re expecting.

When is the next Apple event?

As confirmed by the tech giant, the next Apple event will take place on 7 May 2024 at 7am PT, which translates to 10am EDT or 3pm BST (UK time).

Just like nearly every other Apple event, you’ll be able to watch the action unfold in real time through a dedicated livestream.

How to watch Apple’s spring event 2024

While Apple once required the use of Safari or an Apple product to watch its livestreams, it has dropped the barriers in recent years, allowing basically anybody on any device to tune in to its events via the Apple website.

However, it’s easiest to watch the Apple’s spring event live via its YouTube channel. The stream is embedded below, so check back here when it starts to watch live.

Alternatively, you’ll be able to watch the September Event via the Apple Event website, as well as via the Apple TV app on iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and Mac.

What will Apple announce at its spring 2024 event?

As usual, Apple hasn’t give much away with regards to what will be announced. However, there have been a number of rumours about how and when the new iPads will be released, with the recent ones poiting to early May.

And indeed, the invitation image of the ‘Let Loose’ event shows an artistic render of an Apple Pencil, suggesting that iPads will be a focus of the event.

Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman says we’ll be getting a new iPad Pro, which might bring a brand new 14-inch model and M4 chipset, plus potentially two sizes of iPad Air. Also, look out for a new Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil, though it’s not clear if both accessories will be compatible with both tablets.

Rumours suggest the regular iPad and iPad Mini won’t be updated here, but that may happen later in the year.

The spring event isn’t the only one Apple has already confirmed. We also know that its WWDC 2024 keynote will take place on 10 June 2024.
